Drowning Town is a concept for an animated short film which I came up with during a concept art course at my university. I'm fascinated by underwater scenery, and this story takes place at a nearly submerged town. As the adults scramble to build a new life for the villagers, the main characters (a little boy and his dog) are left with not much to do - other than explore their new surroundings by boat. Although their home has recently faced a terrible natural catastrophe, the newly changed surroundings are full of excitement and wonder, especially when seen through the eyes of a child.
